September 19, 2008: Cavitat Examination
After waiting over two years (Sandy's last oral surgery for osteomyelitis of the jawbone was July 31, 2006) for her jawbone to heal and her lymph glands to no longer be swollen and painful with little or no improvement (her condition was getting worse, with on and off facial swelling and pain in her upper right cheekbone area), Sandy agreed to have another Cavitat examination.
On Friday, September 19, 2008, she had the examination. You can view the results here:
Sandy's oral surgery for the removal of cavitations and infected and dead bone is scheduled for 9 am, Thursday, September 25, 2008 with Dr. Roberto Villafana in Tijuana, Mexico. Dr. Villafana can be reached at his office in Tijuana at his San Diego, California phone number: (619) 819-9217.
What is a Cavitat Device?
The Cavitat Device is an aid to medical professionals, when used adjunctive to a radiograph (panoramic X-ray), in diagnosing the debilitating effects of Bone Marrow Edema Syndrome, Neuralgia Inducing Cavitational Osteonecrosis (NICO), Osteomyelitis, and Periodontal Pockets of the Buccal Bone.

We are back from San Ysidro, CA (and Mexico). We had to go twice. First
we went to Sanoviv in Rosarita, Mexico for Sandy's Cavitat Exam on
September 19th. That day we were supposed to see Sandy's dentist, Dr.
Villafana, in Mexico, too, but he hurt his back and couldn't see Sandy
that day as planned. So we drove home on the 20th.
